They sounded like they'd be good to use while I ran. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks the right earbud stopped working. Prior to that, I tried to use the flexible sport ear-hooks that go behind each ear. They are terrible and consistently fall off. The In-Ear Headphones have a 2 year warranty, so I returned them to V-Moda, following their emailed instructions. 2 weeks later, no action taken. Most if not all IEM (in-ear-monitors) sound good. In fact I have a pair of JVC Marshmallow IEM's that I got at Walmart for under $15.00 that sound great. The difference between the V-Moda's and cheaper models is how well the audio is controlled.The entire frequency range on the Remix is tight and well controlled. If I could compare the sound from these to something else it would be reminiscent of audio from a large pair of acoustic suspension loud speakers. Warm, low tight controlled bass, and clear mid's and highs. I worked as an audio engineer back in the late '80's early '90's and know how well loudspeakers can sound. These are the closest pair of headphones to exact sound I have yet to discover. Fit is great too. V-Moda included 8 pairs of ear inserts. If you can't find a proper fit you have some odd sized ears! I am a music lover but not an earphone expert, mostly because I am unwilling to spend more than $100 for a set. I do spend a lot of time listening to my ipods and, of course, think that the standard set included with all ipods sound atrocious. My experience with other cheapy phones is similar, so I knew I needed to spend a little bit more money to get something decent. I have been very pleased with Apple's higher end phones, initially the $40 upgrade and more recently the $80 in-ear phones with remote and mic. I tried the $90 Bose set and was very disappointed with the lackluster sound and returned them, content to use the Apples. When Amazon Vine offered me a free pair of these V-Moda's it was a good chance to try another mid-priced set without any risk. After the disappointment with Bose, a respected name in audio, I was very surprised at how great these sound. Both high and low end sound fantastic.
